SUMMARY of Employee Benefits

Holidays
9 paid holidays
 
Earned Time
25 days pro-rated the first year of employment; 30 days per year pro-rated thereafter; earned time is intended for employees to take time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, or other personal time; earned time is based on date of hire and percent of FTE.
 
Short Term Disability
Short term disability pays 70% of gross salary up to the 90th day of a disability. This benefit is fully paid for by the Center.
 
Long Term Disability
Long term disability insurance covers 50% on the 90th day of a continuous disability. This benefit is fully paid for by the Center.
 
Additional Long Term Disability
Buy-up increases benefit for Long term disability from 50% to 60% at employee's cost.
 
Life Insurance
$50,000 life insurance policy for employee; fully paid for by the Center.
 
Additional Life Insurance
Additional life insurance available for self, spouse/partner, child(ren) at employee's cost.
 
Long Term Care Insurance
Voluntary nursing home / home care insurance available to employees and eligible dependents.
 
Health Insurance
Two plans offered: Group Health Cooperative HMO and Group Health Cooperative POS; Center contributes 75% of least expensive premium (single, 2-person, family).
 
Dental Insurance
Delta Dental Plan available at employee's cost.
 
Pension
Beginning on the first entry date after eligibility requirements have been met, the Center contributes 6% of gross salary to a pension/retirement account; fully paid for by the Center; the account is 100% vested immediately.
 
Cafeteria Benefits
Medical expense, dependent care, and independent insurance (non-employer sponsered) accounts available offering pre-tax benefits for certain out-of-pocket expenses.
 
TDA - 403B
Tax deferred annuity (403b) available for long term retirement investments.
 
Domestic Partner Coverage
Health, dental, additional life, and long term care insurance coverage available for domestic partners.
 
Parking
On site and off-site location reimbursement accounts available using pre-taxed dollars.
