HUD/CDA TRIANGLE PROGRAM
Mental Health Center of Dane County, Inc.

The CDA Triangle program is a collaboration between the Mental Health Center of Dane Co. and the City of Madison Community Development Authority.  Two HUD Service Coordinator positions are supported through a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant to work in the Triangle public housing area, serving a population of individuals who are either not well served by traditional systems or are involved in multiple, overlapping, and un-integrated systems.  The HUD Service Coordinators work to engage the Triangle population providing assessment, supportive psychotherapy, crisis intervention and stabilization, and case management when such services are not available in the general community.  Additionally, the HUD Service Coordinators work to build a supportive milieu for consumers in the Triangle, developing volunteer and internship programs with community agencies, training residents in the obligations of tenancy, addressing problems with housekeeping / hoarding, and providing psychoeducation.
